Customers

We ran out of law firms.

100% of the AmLaw 200 are Hargora customers. We've saturated the market. So we did what any $24.8 billion platform would do: we started founding our own firms to sell to.

Whitmore & Salk LLP Our first firm. The AI has developed a preference for one court in Delaware.
Meridian Holt Group Both sides ran Hargora. $4.2M settled in 4 minutes. Both partners billed for oversight. Neither was present.
Chen, Okoro & Watts A partner typed "Pls Fix" at 2:14 AM. By sunrise, a 400-page credit agreement had been executed.
+ 8 more in development Seven more pending bar admission. One has already filed an IPO.

Leadership

Two co-CEOs. Reporting to each other.

Winston Weinberg

Co-CEO (née Harvey)

"We are now within striking distance of Thomson Reuters, which is something neither company could claim individually."

Max Junestrand

Co-CEO (née Legora)

"Together, we will have leadership in both markets. That is the core thesis."

Gabriel Pereyra

Chief President Officer

A newly created role. Job description expected by Q3.

80% of the combined workforce have been formally classified as "people who explain AI to lawyers."

Frequently asked questions

Why "Hargora"?

Credit to Richard Tromans of Artificial Lawyer, who coined it on March 16. We thought it was too good not to build a website around. It helped that Legora's logo makes a rather handsome H with minimal adjustment.

Is this merger good for customers?

Both co-CEOs have confirmed this merger is "unequivocally positive for customers," which is the same thing every merger announcement has said since the concept of mergers was invented.

How will data residency work across US and EU?

Hargora will maintain separate data environments in both jurisdictions, connected by what the CTO describes as "a very secure pipe." Compliance teams have been in a room together for three weeks.

What happens to the Harvey and Legora AMAs on r/legaltech?

Both remain on the subreddit: Legora AMA, Harvey AMA. A combined Hargora AMA has been proposed for Q2, pending agreement on which co-CEO speaks first.

Is Hargora now the largest legal tech company?

Not by valuation. But if hype contributes to size, then yes.

Do I need to re-negotiate my contract?

Your existing agreement remains valid with the surviving entity. The surviving entity has not yet been determined. Both co-CEOs have described their company as the acquirer.

What happens to our DPA?

DPAs will be novated to Hargora Ltd, Inc, AB, or GmbH, depending on which entity exists first. Your DPO has been cc'd on an email they have not yet opened.

Can I still switch vendors?

Yes. The rlegaltech500 tracks 500 major legal tech vendors. After the merger, Harvey and Legora will be one of them. The other 498 are, we're told, "very keen to discuss your needs at this uncertain time."

Will the revenue multiple go down now?
